Jet trainer and light attack aircraft. Out of production but still in widespread use.
Alenia Aermacchi M-346
Advanced trainer originally designed in partnership between Yakovlev and Alenia Aermacchi but developed and marketed independently by the latter after the two companies went their separate ways. In production but yet to enter service.
BAE Systems Hawk
Jet trainer and light combat aircraft. Still in production by BAE Systems (formerly British Aerospace) and also being built under licence in India.
CASA C-101 Aviojet
Trainer and light attack aircraft. Out of production but still in use.
Dassault/Dornier Alpha Jet
Franco-German trainer and light attack aircraft. Was the main competitor to the BAE Systems Hawk but is now out of production, though still in use by a number of countries.
Embraer Tucano
Turboprop military trainer. Was also produced under licence by Short in the UK for the Royal Air Force.
Pilatus PC-7
Turboprop-powered trainer. Superseded by the later PC-9 and out of production, but still in service.
Pilatus PC-9
Turboprop-powered trainer. Derivative of the earlier PC-7. Still in production as the PC-9M and in use with a number of countries.
Scottish Aviation Bulldog
Basic trainer. Out of production and currently a rare sight, although some remain in private use.
